Postgraduate Ambassador Scholarship

WHAT IS THE SCHOLARSHIP?

Full tuition fee scholarship up to £15,000.

Please note, you must have an offer to study a Master’s programme with the British School of Leadership and Management at GCU London and be at UNCONDITIONAL offer stage before you submit your application.

WHO CAN APPLY

Any International student who can demonstrate how they have contributed to the ‘Common Good’ and are looking to commence studies in September 2020 on a Master’s course at Glasgow Caledonian University London (which the British School of Leadership and Management is part of).

As part of the application you will be required to submit a video of no longer than two minutes telling us about yourself and how you have contributed to the common good. Please details the link of your Youtube or Vimeo video on the application form.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview in person or via skype.

REQUIREMENTS

You will be required to sign and agree to the Ambassadors Charter which will be requirements that the successful applicants must undertake, as noted below:

  • Record 3 vlogs/blogs about your experience as a student of Glasgow Caledonian University London.
  • At least 1 social media takeover, for example, instagram live.
  • Be in attendance and adopt an ambassadorial role at events, for example our Open Afternoons.
  • 1 hear per week as a Unibuddy, helping answer prospective students’ questions about life at Glasgow Caledonian University London.

This scholarship is very competetive so please ensure your application details the impact your Common Good activity has made.

  • Have you set up a project designed to help your community?
  • Have you volunteered?
  • Please details how you would like to further impact the Common Good after graduating
  • Detail your financial need and how you will support your living costs in line with UKVI requirements.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Must hold an offer of study with Glasgow Caledonian University London before applying or the application will be rejected.
  • You must be able to cover your living costs in line with the UKVI requirements when applying for a visa.
  • All awards are non-transferable to any other programme or academic session if you are awarded the scholarship.
  • Only applicants on a full-time taught postgraduate Masters course are eligible to apply.
  • No late applications will be accepted.

 

By applying to the scholarship you are agreeing to the role of Ambassador at Glasgow Caledonian University London, which will involve undertaking the following tasks:
